Colours

Hey! I thought I’d share a little colour tester that I made for my coloured Faber-Castell pens.

I’ve been using Faber-Castell pens since I started my manga art inspired Instagram but always in black, white and greys. However, now that I have started this website and I am trying to expand my arty horizons, I’ve found myself experimenting with colours.

My sister was the one who bought me my first sets of pens for my 15th birthday and nearly 3 years later, they are my go to media.

I never coloured with anything but pigmented pencils due to my brush strokes from pens being too obvious and looking patchy. Even now, my colouring leaves something to be desired but I figured, if I don’t practice, I’ll never be at a level where I’ll be happy with it.
